Today marks the end of the much-needed-March-one-week break.
And in that span of one week, i managed to catch up with friends, revise(a bit only) and most importantly rest. Today, i was rejected as a blood donor. Not because i have aids or whatever shit. But because my iron blood level was 124 and the minimum requirement to be eligible to donate is 125. Do you know depressed i was at that moment. I was even close to tearing.

For like months, i was damn stoked that the blood donation drive will be held at Eunos CC. I woke up in the morning with veryveryveryvery damn high hopes and excitement to finally donate my blood. So i guess, the higher you get, the deeper you fall.

Stupid period.

I know this is unlike me to blog about petty things but i know no other solace other than this.

I have to admit, school is very tiring.
Stress level is all time high and it's only the 1st month.
I hate the feeling of being competitive. The feeling of being motivated to work hard
just because i wanna do better than certain people. Inevitable, in my own selfish pursuit to surpass them , i've gradually drifted apart from people. I don't like that. It seems i've become self-centered and so passive. I'm void of pure innocent fun and happiness. But then again, i cannot afford to do that and neglect my studies. Even though, it got really personal and intense at some point of time, but it was a great eye/heart - opener in total. Inspiring much. I guess it's pretty apparent on how much we all have changed (for the better of course, yeah!)

I thought i was great.
I thought with the amount of books,films and experiences i have, i was invincible.
I thought i was great.
I thought i was up there, looking down on people who are missing out on what life is truly about. I was.
I thought i was living life in the correct path.
So thats why i thought i was great.
But i was wrong.

I thought my life is swell.
I was analysing situations, things, strangers, friends, family.
I was strategising every step.
To give is to receive, i heard.
I was trying too hard to live the 'life'
I read books, i watched films
I pondered on them.
I was trying too hard to be a 'good' citizen of the world.
I attempted to change people
I attempted to induce my thoughts on them.
Maybe, as i thought, by changing them, the world will become a better place.
I hated peoples' values. I thought mine was great.
I thought I was great.
But i was wrong.

I was wrong the whole time.
I was up in my head the whole time.
I wasnt great. And that i hope i was wrong but i'm right this time.

I'm back in square one now.
So where do i go from here?

I've been coming home feeling oh so tired. =(

I've been reading Mitch Albom's books (Have a Little Faith and Tuesdays with Morrie) back to back. And darn, now I'm questioning about life, love and everything else.

For my entire 16years plusplus, this is the first time i've been grounded.

So the surprise is......

I finally bought a polaroid camera! Furthermore, it's a pretty vintage-ish kind! Woohhhoo.
I'm on cloud nine.

I think i found a new hobby. I wanna collect cameras. I wanna have all sorts of cameras. Different sizes, shapes, brands, functions and so on and on.
And i guess, my newly bought polaroid is a good start to it.

Thank you to the one that accompany me to get my polaroid camera yesterday night.

I'm doing multiple posts today. Oh wheee.

I was watching The Hills for the whole of afternoon.
So that's explain for the random quote by LC in the post before the previous post.
I'm not sure whether it's a good thing or bad, but I'm starting to hate The Hills as the episodes progress. I don't know. It just become more faker in the subsequent episodes.

Oh, did i mention i went for this compulsory 3-hour long relationship module on friday. Uh huh yeah. Pretty good insights on stuff. Ahh, those normal things that we as teenagers probably have heard and being warned of for like a million times. Only at the one million and one time, i was actually listening.

I'm actually running low of cash. But i think I'm going to buy that polaroid camera which gonna probably cost me 70bucks. It's too good a deal to refuse it.
Also, i've watched all my Audrey Tautou's DVDs so i ran out of any to watch already.
I wanna buy new movies already. Somebody sponsor?

I went there with the intentions to buy ONLY Muse's Uprising Album
but instead i left the shop with 3 other DVDS plus Uprising.
Come on! They were selling 2DVDS for $30! Who couldnt resist it.
Furthermore, it's 2 great movies with awesome Audrey Tautou as the main actress!
The same girl who became instantly popular after her movie 'Amelie'.
'Amelie' is a MUST watch movie. It's weird in a veryveryvery superduper good way.

Anyway, i'm gonna slowly start to buy ALL her movies and set aside a place in my room for all her DVDs. 2 down, 18 more to go. Hahaha. Good luck.

And this itself is an understatement.
You should listen and evaluate it yourself.
Muse is the most awesome-to-the-max band to me,
but it might not be for you.
Anyway, Uprising's awesomeness is like the combined awesomeness of all their previous songs.
And i have a feeling, that this is only the tip of the iceberg.

I'm sooo digging their dark, world-dominating tunes with heavy bassline(as usual) in this latest single. AHHHHH. PURE GOODNESS!

Anyway, i finally bought a normal earphones to replace those annonying earphones which have those protruding thingy. 31 bucks gone just on earphones. Tsktsk. My mum is so gonna flip
if she were to see my bank balance.

Apart from earphones, i also bought Arctic Monkeys latest album 'Humbug'!
It is totally different from their previous ones.
I hated it at first but after listening to it for quite some time, the songs just grew on me.
Their lyrics style still remain though, which is a veryvery good thing! =)

Baybeats 09 was great! Well.. i think. Because i only went down around 9 plus on the 3rd day to catch the last act which is..... ANBERLIN! Wheee. They were damn awesome to the max by the way! Omg wheee! I almost died of happiness when they played 'The Feel Good Drag' for their last song. =)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
BUT!
The moshpit sucked balls. Those stupid mats who only come for free gigs were super annonying. I hate it when they were there just for the moshing instead of enjoying Anberlin.
Moshing should be part and parcel of it, which comes inevitably while having the time of your life dancing and headbanging to their songs and not the other way round! Tskkkk!
International bands should NEVER have free concerts because the place will just be infested with all those mats.
